Hong Yan’s professional career couldn’t have started much better.

Competing in just her second-ever IFBB Pro League contest, Yan captured the Women’s Physique title at the Omaha Pro, securing both her first professional victory and her first qualification for the Olympia.

The win marks a major breakthrough for the rising competitor, who wasted little time establishing herself as a serious contender in the division after making the jump to the professional ranks.

Yan emerged victorious from a competitive lineup that featured several experienced names. Marika Jones finished as runner-up, while Megan Russell claimed third place. Jessica Belt took fourth and Nicole Wojciechowski rounded out the top five.

For Yan, the result represents a significant milestone. Many athletes spend years trying to earn their first professional victory and Olympia qualification, but she has managed to accomplish both achievements within her first two appearances as a professional.

The victory also immediately places her among the new names to watch in the Women’s Physique division heading into Olympia season.

While the Olympia stage presents a completely different challenge compared to a regular-season professional show, qualifying so early in her professional career gives Yan valuable time to prepare for the biggest contest of the year.

With one pro win, one Olympia qualification and only two professional contests under her belt, Hong Yan’s start to life in the IFBB Pro League has been highly impressive.

The next challenge now awaits at the Olympia, where she will make her debut against the best Women’s Physique athletes in the world.
