Last Saturday we saw history being made where Aisha Mian became the first Canadian Fit Model Pro to win her Olympia invite at the St Petersburgh Pro.
Aisha has had an amazing season, placing consistently within the top 5 at hugely competitive shows including 3rd at the prestigious New York Pro, 5th in Pittsburgh and 2nd in Toronto. This weekend, Aisha finally took victory, after constantly taking the judges feedback and refining her look. So very well deserved!
Aisha’s main feedback leading into this show was to bring up her glutes whilst streamlining her legs, all whilst not coming in to lean on her lower half. Not an easy thing to do! Aisha and her coach James Atlas worked really hard to create more fullness and balance and they finally nailed the exact look the judges wanted for Fit Model.
Speaking with Foxy from BTSTV, Aisha explains that winning her Olympia qualification felt “honestly surreal”. Aisha says “After consistently placing top 5 all season, hearing my name called for the qualification felt incredibly rewarding because it reflected all the patience and persistence behind the scenes. Being the first athlete in Canada to be crowned a Fit Model IFBB Pro and also the first Canadian Fit model athlete to qualify for the Olympia makes the moment even more meaningful to me. To now represent Canada on the biggest stage in the world, especially in the inaugural Fit Model 2026 Olympia feels both humbling and historic, and it’s something I’m incredibly proud of”.
Aisha comments that she spent a lot of time perfecting her posing and finding her own style and presence on stage. As competitors we know posing is something you can evolve endlessly and Aisha feels she presented a more confident, authentic version of herself this season.
Aisha was not the only one to have huge success last weekend. We saw Vanesa Zuluaga move up the placings again. Natural athlete Vanesa started the season off at 16th in Wasatch and has consistently improved her look, making 9th at Grl Pwr and 5th at the Southern USA Pro. Vanesa now has her sights on another show to try and get the 1st place and Olympia invite!
We saw Ysabella Mallo take 6th place, Ysabella is known for her amazing stage presence and elegant flow. She was awarded the $2k best poser award!
New Pro athlete Phuong Pearl Nguyen under coach Team Pro Ops, made her pro debut at Bombshell Productions and last weekend she climbed the ranks from 9th to 5th place making great improvements to her look.
We saw some great pro debuts from Kayla Hirsch and Felicia Chang. Svetlana Fedkina took 8th place on her pro debut and looks one to watch for future shows!
It was also great to see the first ever Fit Model Pro Angie Miranda back on stage for the first time since May , she brought a much fuller condition, but this time the judges did not place her top 15.
Kayla Deet and Misty Yang, 3rd and 4th respectively have both consistently placed this season and the whole of the top 6 have declared that they are still continuing to pursue the Olympia qualification this season. Who will be next?
Kayla is a great inspiration for junior athletes and she has held her own in hugely competitive line ups this season. Kayla was really happy with her look at the ST Pete Pro saying it was her best look yet.
Natural athlete Misty has made great improvements and we saw a much fuller upper body this time round, her stage presence is captivating and she is relentless in pursuing her goal of the Olympia qualification, she has competed in every single show in the US and Canada this season!
We have the Mr Big Evolution to look forward to this weekend in Portugal and then the Vancouver and Tampa Pro the end of July!
