Welcome to My First Blog!

Welcome to My First Blog! Good evening, lads and ladies! Welcome to the first article written by yours truly! Be prepared for poor spelling, questionable punctuation, and just general silliness! First of all, if you don't already know me, my name is Sara Bradley. I'm an IFBB Pro in Women's Bodybuilding (WBB), having only recently made the move from Women's Physique Division (WPD). I'm also the owner of Small but Mighty Coaching and Small but Mighty Merch. It's a brand I'm incredibly proud of because it's all about bringing together people who may feel like they don't quite belong—essentially, a brand for misfits, if you will. Our slogan is "Stand the F*ck Out," because being the same as everyone else is boring... and you've got to agree with that one! But anyway... enough about that! ## How Did It Feel to Turn Pro? One question I'm asked all the time is: "How did it feel when you turned pro?" My answer is always the same. Becoming an IFBB Pro has been one of the proudest achievements of my life—but it certainly wasn't an overnight success. I first stepped into a gym at around 10 or 11 years old, shortly after my mum passed away. Like it has been for so many other people, the gym became my safe haven. Putting my headphones on and training helped me process emotions I didn't understand as a young girl. Bodybuilding has carried me through some incredibly difficult times, and I will always be grateful for everything it has given me. I know so many people can relate to that feeling because a lot of us found bodybuilding through hardship and adversity. I genuinely believe that's what makes this community so strong—our shared experiences. We all started with a dream and a willingness to work hard. We've all experienced incredible highs, difficult setbacks, moments of self-doubt, and countless lessons. Those experiences have shaped not only the athletes we are today, but also the people we've become. ## More Than Just Building Muscle Bodybuilding has taught me so much more than how to build muscle. It's taught me patience, discipline, resilience, and the importance of showing up for yourself every single day—even when the motivation isn't there. Success isn't about being perfect. It's about being consistent. It's about choosing to keep going when things get tough and trusting that every workout, every meal, and every small decision adds up over time. ## What You Can Expect From This Blog This blog is my opportunity to give you an honest look into the world of bodybuilding, specifically Women's Physique (WPD) and Women's Bodybuilding (WBB). I'll be sharing my transition from WPD to WBB in as much detail as possible, taking you behind the scenes of what that process really looks like. We'll cover topics including: * Training tips * Nutrition strategies * Competition prep * Recovery * Mindset * PEDs * Balancing bodybuilding with life outside the gym I'll also be sharing the mistakes I've made along the way because I truly believe we learn just as much from our setbacks as we do from our successes. ## Your Journey Is Your Own Whether you're stepping into a gym for the very first time, preparing for your first bodybuilding competition, or simply trying to become the healthiest and strongest version of yourself, I want this space to remind you of one thing: Every journey is unique. Comparison can steal your joy, but consistency and self-belief will take you further than you ever imagined. ## Thank You Thank you for taking the time to be here and for being part of this journey with me. I hope you'll follow along as I continue chasing that prestigious Ms. Olympia title in WBB, and hopefully inspire you to pursue your own dreams with confidence, determination, and the belief that anything is possible when you're willing to put in the work. There will be a brand-new blog every Friday, so be sure to keep an eye out—I can't wait to share the journey with you!
