Multi-time Fitness Olympia champion Missy Truscott has officially restructured her team, appointing Rafael Zimmermann as her new coach. The announcement marks a significant strategic shift for MIssy as she continues her transition into the Figure division. The veteran athlete is currently preparing for her second season as a Figure Olympian following a highly successful career that has established her as one of the most decorated figures in the IFBB Pro League.
Missy brings an elite resume to this new partnership, boasting 10 professional victories across 24 career appearances. Her transition from the Fitness division to Figure has already proven fruitful, as she secured two professional wins in the Figure category during the 2025 season. As she looks toward the 2026 Olympia, Truscott cited her deep respect for Rafael's recent coaching achievements and his work with other high-level clients as the primary catalyst for the change.
The relationship between Missy and Rafael is built on a year-long friendship, which Truscott believes will facilitate the level of communication necessary to optimize her physique for the sport's biggest stage. The focus of the partnership centres on ensuring the former Fitness champion brings a refined and improved package as she seeks to climb the ranks of the Figure division.
Rafael joins Missy's camp at a critical juncture in her career. Having already mastered one division, the objective now remains consistency and peak conditioning as she attempts to secure another title in a different category. With two 2025 victories already legitimizing her status as a top-tier Figure threat, the veteran competitor expects this coaching change to provide the necessary edge to challenge for a top placing at the Olympia.
