Dallas Botchway Takes Huge World Classic Pro Victory and Moves One Step Closer to the Olympia
Dallas Botchway continues to build serious momentum in the 2026 season after capturing a huge victory at the World Classic Pro Men’s Physique, securing the second professional win of his career and moving to within one victory of qualifying for his second Olympia appearance.
The win didn’t come easy.
Fresh off a runner-up finish at last week’s Mile High Show, Dallas arrived with confidence but was pushed all the way by Brazil’s Emerson Costa in what proved to be one of the closest contests of the weekend. The judges were split throughout the comparisons, with Dallas ultimately edging Emerson by a single point on the scorecards.
It was the kind of battle that could have gone either way.
Dallas’s combination of shape, presentation, and stage presence ultimately proved enough to convince the majority of the judging panel, but Costa left little doubt that he remains one of the most dangerous competitors in the division. The razor-thin margin only highlighted the quality both athletes brought to the stage.
Rounding out the top three was Diogo Basaglia, who landed another podium finish after collecting second place in each of his previous two contests. While Diogo narrowly missed out on the top spot once again, his consistency continues to make him a factor whenever he steps on stage.
For Dallas, however, this weekend belonged to him.
After bouncing back immediately from last week’s disappointment at the Mile High Show, he now finds himself in a strong position heading into the second half of the season. With two professional victories now on his résumé and only one more win needed to secure Olympia qualification, the momentum is firmly on his side.
If his recent form is anything to go by, that second Olympia appearance may not be far away.
